This is just the Liberal Media again. Boy they were fast on this one, only about a month since he pleaded guilty, and nearly two months after the arrest. Wow that's some cracker-jack reporting.

The first allegations came in 1982. I heard rumors around then. NufSaid either wasn't paying attention or thinks denial is just a river in Africa.

What is revealing is the depths to which self-denial and overweening duplicity is embedded in Republican values. Just like the proverbial Uncle Tom, Larry Craig has turned his back on his own nature and acted against people that should have been able to trust him more than anyone else. And now he gets to reap the whirlwind: not a single 'friend' of his will stand behind him and support him. Those that suffered from his backstabbing anti-gay votes will revel in the Schadenfreude. And the rest of us will selectively grab the aspect that offends us most and cluck disapprovingly.

That last bit ('grabbing the ... most offensive...') is what separates us from you. Were Senator Craig plucked from the picture, the big issue in those details. Ask each faction involved what detail offends their sensibilities? Sex in a smelly airport bathroom? The cloud of hypocrisy ? Gayness itself? That he cheats on his wife with other men? That his party will ignore his 27 years of DC service rather than doubt their platform?

Of course, you two nitwits will gloss over this complexity and invent your own explanation for why we're all riding the Schadenfreude express today.

I dare you to seek nuance and truth here, instead of the easy partisan claims. There's a lesson here if you'll accept it.

Another case of hypocrisy. The people of Idaho deserve better. Is it really an allegation if he plead guilty?

I was shocked. This was the first I have heard of the allegations. If all of this is true, I would hope he would resign his senate seat.

I truly believe if he isn't honest with this, he's not honest with many things.
