What ELSE Have Minneapolis Airport Cops Been Up To?
Halli
Fair-minded readers may wish to read the details of another arrest and conviction at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport.
Stephan Orzak, writing at Greencycle in Good News! details his arrest at the Minneapolis airport for riding a bicycle.
And yes, Sergeant Karsnia, the very police officer who arrested Senator Larry Craig, was involved in this case as well.
Orzak’s case, however, went to court and was heard by a jury. On August 18, Orzak was found guilty of nothing more serious than “Failure to Comply with a Lawful Order”.
Sound eerily similar to Craig’s “Disorderly Conduct” charge and guilty plea?
I’m anxious for your comments.

big deal, same cop and he got a conviction in front of a jury on the same charge craig plead guilty to. what is your point, besides trying to dog a cop and excuse craig’s behavior?

So, does this mean you’re turning against Bryan Fischer and striking out on your own? Good for you. Once you’re done with your “cops are bad guys who put innocent people in jail” posts, I look forward to your next “President Bush wants to give away our sovereignty to the UN through the SPP” post based on this WND article. ( http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=57369 ) This one takes a new direction — it also claims the military is planning on taking away our freedoms! Seriously, at this point, it’s hard to tell the difference between the far right and the far left.

But this guy didn’t plead guilty. Why plead guilty if you are innocent of any crime. You would only plead guilty if you did something.

The recorded conversation shows that Craig was threatened with jail time if he didn’t go along with the officer leading comments. Craig couldn’t risk going to jail and defending the made up charge and pleaded just to get out of that spot.and who could he call for help if he asked for counsel he would have waited in jail with the made up sex charge .What do you think.

I’m not interested in moping the floor with my jeans and do a act keeping them up . I’m not as tall as Craig.

Those darn messengers. They’ve caused problems forever. I think we ought to render unto Ceasar what is Ceasar’s. Craig is clearly to blame for this.

I am a conservative and am absolutly distressed with some of the Idaho Republicans. Had Craig been a Democrat, they would have pounced, touting how he should resign, how they were a disgrace to the office, etc etc. But since he is a Republican, some rallied around him, like the Democrats rallied around Bill Clinton.
Its Friday 8/31/. There is a news report indicating that Senator Craig may resign. According to the report, the Republican National Committee was going to ask him to resign, but allegedly has held off until he does resign.
So if Craig resigns, it wasn’t because of the Democrats, it wasn’t because of the so called evil media. It was because he plead guilty to a crime and the Republican Party wants him to resign and is leaning on him to resign.
For all the Idaho Republicans who ‘rallied in support of Craig’ this may come as a huge shock that our own party wants him OUT and the Democrats, liberals and especially Rep Barney Frank are supporting him. Isn’t it interesting that many Idaho Republicans are on the same sheet of music that liberals and Barney Frank are.
If you go out to: http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years/2007/0828071craig8.html You will see that Craig signed a form saying that he reviewed the police report, he understood the charges against him, that he plead guilty, that he understood that the court will not accept a guilty plea from “anyone who claims to be innocent” and he declares “I now make no claim that I am innocent of the charge to which I am entering a plea of guilty.”
I heard various people, including Senator Crapo telling us that they are taking Larry at his word. One wonders which word? The one where he says he is guilty in early August, or the one now where he says he is not? Which one is not correct?
For all those who tell us we should wait until all the facts are in, wait for the investigation to be over, don’t pass judgement and all that, perhaps you would also be willing to afford the liberals and the Democrats the same thing.
By the way, a person is not passing judgement on Craig, as he has already passed judgement on himself in early August in court. One could suspect that he was hoping to plead guilty and the entire matter would disappear…and it did for 20 or so days.
